I received my dual Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and Education at the National Central University in Taiwan. And completed my Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at the National Taiwan University.
I was a teaching assistant in the Institute of Sinologie at Universität Heidelberg in 2020.During this time, I invested lots of time with students to figure out German students’ learning difficulties.According to these discoveries, my master thesis <The Analysis and Instructional Design of Chinese Confusable Action Verbs> focuses on the analysis and instructional design of Chinese confusable action verbs. Another research<The Semantic function and classification of Zé>listed common measure words that confused students a lot.
Before joining the faculty at the University of Göttingen,I worked as a Mandarin Lecturer and Instructor in The U.S. Defense Language and National Security Education Office, teaching in National Chengchi University.
In addition,my educational background enables me to proficiently combine classic Chinese literature with modern social issues to spark students’ interest in learning. Recently, I have been focusing on areas such as Intercultural Communication in Greater China, Advanced Chinese Studies, and Social and Political Affairs in Chinese.
